Engro Fertilisers Limited has announced the commencement of commercial operations at its new fertilizer facility in Daharki. Engro’s new plant, set up at a cost of US $1.1 billion, is the largest single train urea production plant in the world, with a total capacity of 1.3 million tons per annum. The plant evaluations carried out by licensors, as well as a lender appointed independent engineers, have given the new plant a clean bill of health.
