The seven-member Pakistan Taekwondo team will participate in the World Qualification Tournament for London Olympics from June 29 to July 3 at Baku, Azerbaijan.
PTF Secretary Wasim Ahmed thanked the Pakistan Sports Board for support and cooperation for arranging the No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Ministry of Sports. Waseem also said, “The participation in the championship will build the confidence among the players to show their skills and techniques at the international level which will definitely help Taekwondo players to gain better experience for the upcoming Asian Qualification Round for 2012 Olympics scheduled to be held in November 2011.
