SNGPL’s Extraordinary General Meeting was held under the Chairmanship of Misbah-ur-Rehman. In the meeting, shareholders exercised their right of vote to elect, for the term of three years, 13 directors to the board. The company’s Managing Director Mohammad Arif Hameed and other members of the senior management were also present. For election to the Board of Directors, 17 candidates, from various fields, had submitted their documents for nomination. Gul Mohammad Rind and Tariq Iqbal Khan had later withdrawn their documents. The elected Board of Directors includes Mian Misbah-ur-Rehman, Saeed-ullah Shah, Shabbir Ahmed, Mohammad Azam Khan, Mohammad Arif Habib, Azeem Iqbal Sadiqqui, Ahmed Aqeel, Wazeer Ali Khoja, Mian Raza Mansha, Abdus Sammad Dawood, Mirza Mehmood Ahmed, Nisar Ahmed and Shahid Azeez Sadiqqui
