I salute Ms Marvi Memon not only for resigning from her party but also from the membership of National Assembly. The resignation is for the right cause and has come at a time when almost all the parliamentarians were having no direction and are travelling in a rudderless ship under selfish and professionally weak captains. It is a good omen for the politics in Pakistan as it will also give a direction to all those who cannot think, not to follow the politics of dynastic rule.
I feel happy that a brave female parliamentarian has shown the path to our parliamentarians and politicians to be brave and speak the truth rather than follow the path of sycophancy. One feels like gifting the male MPs packets of bangles for their cowardly conduct during the last three years. I hope and pray that others will scratch their heads and now, for a change, do something for the country .The Chaudhry Brothers loss due to their selfish motives in the long run is Ms Marvi’s gain. We need few and a handful like her who would guide this country out of trouble.
One would like to congratulate her for her bold step .It is never too late.
