The PML-N pursues politics considering it as sacred as religion and do not call corruption politics, party chief Nawaz Sharif said on Friday.
“Our politics is not politics of falsehood and hypocrisy. We don’t consider corruption politics but we consider politics worship,” Nawaz said while addressing a public meeting.
He said it was time people stopped bowing before dictators, adding that it was the people of Pakistan who had to decide if they or dictators had to rule the country. “How can those who have landed the entire country in chaos bring order in Azad Kashmir,” Nawaz asked. “We will transform Azad Kashmir into a new Kashmir. We will build a motorway from Muzaffarabad to Islamabad to change the destiny of the people of Azad Kashmir,” he said.
Nawaz said the government should give details of the funds collected by it for flood victims. Where has the relief assistance gone? Where has it been utilised?” he asked. The prime minister’s participation in the election campaign was a joke, Nawaz said. “Rulers have unleashed a loot and plunder spree and are pocketing billion of rupees,” he alleged. “Biddings are offered everyday and such strategy has never been witnessed ever before.”
