Pakistan all set to corner India

Pakistan after assuring a place in the FIP World Cup to be held in Argentina is all set to give their best to corner the India in their Zone D Polo final in Malaysia at the Royal Selangor Polo Club in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.
Although both the teams have qualified for the World Cup in San Luis, Argentina from October 11 to 25 after beating Australia and South Africa respectively, but the Zone D final between Pakistan and India will be a dream game that would carry the thrill.
The Pakistan team was at their best despite the fact that their one of the main players Hissam Ali Hyder did not make the tournament from England due to his busy schedule. But his absence did not make much of the difference as Raja Samiullah filled in the void with his skills.
To provide moral support to the team Pakistan Polo Association Chairman Maj Gen Sahibzada Isfandyar Pataudi has specially flown to Malaysia while Abdul Qadir Khan Mamdot, former President Lahore Polo Club, is already there as manager of the team.
“The team needs to capitalise on their chances if they are going to win tomorrow and I am confident,” Mamdot said. “It will be a tough match and we will have to be at our best,” he added.
