A local judicial magistrate on Friday handed over Malik Bashir, his sons and security guards to police on physical remand till June 28.
Malik Bashir and his accomplices, known for human trafficking and issuing fake visas, were involved in a case of sever torture of and firing on three journalists namely Mian Daud (Pakistan Observer), Asif Butt (Al-Sharq) and Hafiz Tariq (Lahore Press Club) on Davis Road.
The police had arrested the accused immediately after the incident and a case was registered against them in the Civil Lines Police Station.
