Newly appointed ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, Hiroshi Oe visited political headquarters of Muttahida Quami Movement (MQM) “Nine Zero.”
Deputy Consul General Toshikazu Isomura, Second Secretary Takashi Shimokyoda and Vice Consul Tsuyoshi Hikita were also flanked with him.
MQM Coordination Committee Deputy Convener Dr Farooq Sattar and members Nasrin Jalil and Kunwar Khalid Yunus received the Japanese ambassador and members of his delegation.
Dr Farooq Sattar apprised the Hiroshi about the formation of MQM and the current political situation in the country particularly in Karachi.
Hiroshi Oe showed particular interest in the security issues in Pakistan with reference to foreign investment.
Japanese ambassador also presented a shield for MQM leader Altaf Hussain.
