Humidity adds to people’s sufferings

Increasing humidity and prolonged power outages have made life miserable for the citizens.
The Met office said hot and humid weather will prevail in Lahore today (Saturday) however, there was a chance of rain and thundershower in the city.
Citizens going for Friday prayers and students appearing in exams suffered at the hands of prolonged electricity shutdowns.
The maximum temperature recorded on Friday was 39 degrees Celsius and humidity was 69 percent in the morning and 47 percent in the evening.
The Met office said hot and humid weather is expected over most parts of the country.
However, thunderstorm and rain is likely to occur in Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Sargodha, Lahore, Faisalabad, Bahawalpur and Kashmir.
