Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani has expressed deep grief over loss of precious lives in devastating floods in various parts of People’s Republic of China.
In his letter to his Chinese Counterpart Mr. Wen Jiaboa, the Prime Minister said “I was deeply saddened to learn of the devastation and loss of lives caused by devastating floods in various parts of People’s Republic of China. The Government and people of Pakistan share the sorrow and grief of our Chinese brothers in equal measure. I would like to convey my heartfelt condolences on this tragedy. Kindly also convey our sympathies to the bereaved families who have lost their loved ones. We are sure that our resilient Chinese brothers will meet this challenge with strength and fortitude.”
The Prime Minister assured his highest consideration.
