Musharraf’s ADC found dead

Maj (r) Tanvir, who remained the ADC to former president Pervez Musharraf, was found dead in a suite in a posh area of Islamabad on Thursday. Well-placed sources said Tanveer was gunned down in suite No 4 of Karakoram plaza located in the Sector F-11 of the federal capital.
He was shot in the left side of his head. A 9MM pistol was found in the suite, but it did not bear any fingerprints. Police have seized the pistol and started investigation.
The victim has left behind a wife and two sons, while a post-mortem had not been conducted on the request of the deceased’s family. Maj (r) Tanvir was a heart patient and had recently undergone a bypass surgery. Police sources said the family members believed that the deceased had committed suicide.
