Prime Minister Yousaf Raza Gilani on Thursday called Azad Jammu and Kashmir the “jugular vein of Pakistan” and assured its people of his complete political, diplomatic and moral support.
Addressing a public gathering at Palandri Cadet College, Gilani said the PPP and the Kashmir dispute had a deep relation. He said like its martyred leaders, the government would continue to raise the Kashmir issue globally and inform the world about gross human rights violations in the Indian-held Kashmir.
“We will like to tell the world that the people of Pakistan stand by their Kashmiri brethren and support their cause,” he said.
