CCPO Ahmad Raza Tahir directed Lahore Police to ensure foolproof security of foreign consulates, United Nation’s offices and all important and sensitive buildings in the city, on Thursday.
The CCPO directed the police to intensify patrolling and keep a close liaison with sensitive institutions by providing them important telephone numbers of the organisation concerned so that they could access them in the time of need.He also directed DIG Operations to activate its Security Branch and to improve system of receiving and dissemination of important information. He appealed to the citizens to keep a watchful eye on their surroundings and in case of any suspicious activity immediately inform Lahore Police.
