The government has decided to elevate State Minister Hina Rabbani Khar to foreign minister. A source told Pakistan Today that President Zardari and the PM had decided in principle to elevate Hina so as the strategic dialogue process with friendly countries, including the US and the UK could go forward.
The source said a formal announcement would soon be made in this regard.
She deserves it i think…..
It is an excellent decision to promote her as a Foreign Minister. Might be she face problem to handle this uphill task but I think she is enough mature and hard worker to handle this task. She has proved as a Finance State Minister for more than last five years and now state miniser for foreign minister. nothing heard wrong about her. she proved to be gentlewomen, trust worthy, only she change her loyalities from pml Q but she newly elected from ppp by vote but this practice should not be continue. Hope she will proove to be as an excellent, hardworking and intgelent Foreign Minister for Pakistan, wish her good luck., idrees.
I do not know her credentials but she a Khar, so may be that is her main credential, and she will be only a spoke person, no knowledge or training in foreign relations. She traveled lot Mr. Shukat Aziz.
