At least two real brothers and activists of Awami National Party (ANP) were shot dead in Korangi in the limits of Awami Colony Police Station on Wednesday.
Sub Inspector Ghaznfar at the police station said that some unidentified armed people, riding a bike, opened fire at a taxi stand in the Old Farm House area of the colony in Korangi.
Resultantly, Nazirullah received bullet injuries. Receiving the information of the incident, Nazir’s younger brother Habibullah reached the spot and took his injured brother to a hospital. The officer further said the armed people again chased them near the taxi stand and opened fire on them.
The injured were shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre for medical treatment but could not survive.
