Rulers, foreign agencies marring law, order: Nawaz

Expressing concerns over the deteriorating law and order across the country, Pakistan Muslim League-N leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday said that country’s rulers and foreign agencies were behind the imbroglio Pakistan was currently in.
Addressing a public gathering in district Bagh in Azad Kashmir, Nawaz said corruption was in full swing in all departments and even pilgrims were not safe from the menace. He said President Asif Ali Zardari was following the policies of destruction and the people of Azad Kashmir should reject his policies in the upcoming general elections.
The PML-N chief said he loved AJK and its people, and if the people gave his party a chance, it would change their destiny. Nawaz said the people of AJK had a chance to vote and they should think before casting their ballots, because if the “PPP gets to rule, the situation in Azad Kashmir would be similar to that in Pakistan”. He said he signed the CoD with BB, but Asif Ali Zardari did not act upon it, adding that dictators who sabotaged the constitution should be punished and the sovereignty of the country should not be compromise.
Nawaz said the money lying in Swiss banks was the hard-earned money of the people of Pakistan and the nation would not pardon the rulers for their looting. Addressing another public rally at Dadial, the PML-N chief said Zardari had learnt nothing from his mistakes, and had broken all promises and agreements made in Murree and Bhurban.
