JI, Ikhwanul Muslimoon to join hands for resolving Ummah’s problems

The Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan and the Ikhwanul Muslimoon of Egypt have decided to make joint efforts for the solution of the Muslim Ummah’s problems including Kashmir and Palestine and play their role in the public awakening in the Muslim world.
Top leadership of the two parties in a meeting at the Ikhwanul Muslimoon headquarters in Cairo on Tuesday also decided to strengthen the relations between the Islamic movements.
A three-member JI delegation led by JI chief Syed Munawar Hasan is currently on a four-day visit to the brother Muslim country on the invitation of the Ikhwanul Muslimoon chief Dr Muhammad Badei.
The two sides held detailed discussion on promoting the image of moderate Islam and spreading its real message to the world and underscored the imperative need for closer and stronger ties between the Islamic movements all over the world.
The two sides discussed the latest situation in Kashmir and Palestine and agreed to step up their efforts for conveying the message of the oppressed people to the world community.
