We demand to know

Ever since the creation of Pakistan, the people of Pakistan have been kept in the dark about major incidents which shook the very foundation of the country. It started with the murder of Liaqat Ali Khan.

The outcome of all enquiry commissions for every incident taking place in the country has been a stalemate which has led to many conspiracy theories. Whether it was the Tashkhent Declaration, the Hamoodur Rehman Commission or the Kargil debacle, the facts never came out. Since the truth was never found out about these events, no one was held responsible for these blunders.

We, the people of Pakistan want to know:

1. Who was Raymond Davis and what was his mission in Pakistan? How did he fly off from Pakistan the same night when his passport was in the custody of Punjab government? Why was he not charged for espoinage?

2. Who lived in the Abbottabad compound? The US claims that Pakistani Army (lower ranks) knew that OBL was living in that compound. What stopped us to arrest him and hand over to USA and secure $ 50 millions as his head money?

3. Is it correct that our radar on the western borders did not detect the intrusion of 4 helicopters into our territory or was it the case that the PAF/ground forces were ordered not to react and tell the nation/parliament that it was a security lapse? In the latter case, why were all involved in this lapse not sacked?

4. What were the causes of the PNS Mehran lapse?

5. Why is our government reluctant to find out the facts in all these incidents and tell the truth to the demoralised nation? The government should be quick to form the inquiry commission. As a result, some heads must roll at least once in the country’s history.
