Interior Minister Rehman Malik said that Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry refused to give judges to be part of Investigative Commissions being set up to probe into the murder of Saleem Shahzad due to shortage of SC Judges.
Summing up the budget discussions in National Assembly, Interior Minister Rehman Malik desired to have an in-camera briefing in Senate in order expose everyone. ISI and IB are independent institutions and they don’t take dictation from Interior Ministry. He said Corruption hasn’t taken its start from today, it is in practice for so long. He is ready to present his report of bank defaulters in the Senate. NADRA identified billions of fake voters. And it is due to the reason that Sardar Yaqoob Nasir got elected from Balochistan on recounting the votes. Terrorism has become tumor for the country. He added that Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry turned down our demand of judges due to their shortage in the courts for the Investigation Commission to probe into the matter of Saleem Shahzad’s murder.
People criticizing the secret agencies must know that they saved country from 1100 incidents of terrorism. Terrorism can’t be defeated till Taliban custodians are helping them from within Pakistan, he said.
