A security check post and 12 shops were destroyed in a bomb blast in Miranshah on Tuesday.
According to a private television channel, the bomb which was planted in a market on Khawaja Jan Chowk, destroyed 12 shops and a check post.
The blast was of such a magnitude that it disturbed the electricity system in the city while window panes of nearby houses were also damaged. However, no loss of life was reported.
