Sikh yatrees arrive to attend Ranjit’s anniversary

At least 280 Indian Sikh yatrees reached Lahore by special train on Tuesday to attend death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, a press release issued here said.
The Sikh pilgrims appreciated arrangements made by the Evacuee Trust Property Board. While Board Chairman Asif Hashmi welcomed the guests, the release said. During their stay from June 21, to June 30, they will visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Hassanabdal, Sacha Sauda, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, and Gurdwara Dera Sahib, Lahore.
The Sikh pilgrims remembered the hospitality rendered to them during their previous visits to Pakistan. They also prayed for the solidarity and integrity of Pakistan and wished peace and prosperity for all Pakistanis.
