Pakistan crush Chinese-Taipei

The Pakistan junior hockey team produced yet another sensational win after crushing Chinese-Taipei by 17 goals in their second encounter of the Under-18 Asia Cup Hockey at Singapore on Monday. Pakistan after beating Brunei by 18 goals have yet to open up for their opposition to score against them while in two matches the Junior Greens have hammered 35 goals to lead the Pool A points table. Pakistan’s main goal scorer in the match against Chinese-Taipei was Asad Bashir who hit in the net six times, while Muhammad Irfan and Bilal Qadir earned three goals each. Now out of two matches Pakistan have six points and they have another two matches to play in the tournament against Singapore and Kazakhstan. After a day’s rest, Pakistan will face hosts Singapore on June 22.
