It has been recently reported that the patrolling bikes allocated for Punjab Police in Lahore are being used by other government departments and personnel. This is a dire situation indeed. Such hurdles are preventing the police from using the full potential of available resources. The police are already suffering at the hands of neglect, corruption and mismanagement.
It is also under considerable pressure due to the rise in terrorism. As a concerned citizen, I appeal to the administration that proper resources should be guaranteed and provided to the police, so they can perform their duties.
