Muttahida Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain offered his heartfelt condolences over the deaths and injuries that resulted from an accident of a coach bound for Gwadar on the coastal highway. Hussain said that accidents on the highways were increasing because of speeding and reckless driving. He stressed upon the need of strict implementation of traffic laws in order to make the highways safe. He sympathised with the wounded and the family members of the deceased.
