A woman died and three people were injured when a truck ran over a donkey cart in the Shafiqabad police precincts on Saturday. Abudul Sattar, a resident of Shamsabad, was returning home with his family on Saturday morning when a speeding truck rammed into their donkey cart. Abdul Sattars’ wife Ruqaiyya and daughters Sakina, Salma and Abursttar were injured and rushed to hospital, where doctors pronounced Ruqaiyya dead. The truck driver was detained by the passersby and handed over to the police. In another incident, an 18-year-old girl was found dead in her house in the Azmat Chowk area, Green Town Police precincts on Saturday. Iram, daughter of Saddique Gujjar, was shot in the head Police filed an FIR and were probing her father and brother.
