Two more spells of pre-monsoon expected in June

Pakistan Meteorology Department on Sunday informed that monsoon currents of light to moderate intensity are still penetrating the upper parts of the country and likely to continue during next 24 hours.
The maximum temperature of major cities of the country remained as 38-40°C in Islamabad, 35-37°C in Lahore, 33-35°C in Karachi, 42-44°C in Peshawar and 36-38°C in Quetta. However, isolated rain/ dust- thundershower occurred in upper Punjab, Hazara division and Kashmir during last 24 hours.
Rain/dust-thundershower expected at scattered places of Northeast Punjab (Islamabad/Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Faisalabad & Sargodha divisions) during evening/night. Dust storm at few places of the province expected.
Rain/dust-thundershower expected at scattered places of Upper Khyber Pukhtoonkhwa (KPK) during evening/night. Mainly dry weather expected in southern parts of the province.
In Sindh, hot & dry weather is likely in most parts of the province during next 24 hour. Partly cloudy with light rain expected in Badin and Karachi on coming after next 48 hours.
Seasonal low lies over Balochistan and adjoining areas. Mainly hot & dry weather is likely in most parts of the province during next 24 hour. However partly cloudy weather expected in Quetta and Ziarat during next 36 hours.
Rain/dust-thundershower expected at scattered places of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during next 24-36 hours. Partly cloudy but light rain expected in Kotli, Mirpur, Muzaffarabad and Skardu.
