Fuel dried up in MV Suez

Egyptian merchant vessel Suez facing another problem, after being released by the Somali pirates; floating at the waves of ocean the ship has consumed all its fuel and two members of the crew suffering illness.
Pakistan rights activist Ansar Burney arranged a $2.1 million ransom with hectic efforts to rescue the hostages last Monday.
β€œThe boiler of MV Suez developed a fault last night and the ship has consumed its fuel,” Ansar Burney told a private TV. Pakistan naval ship Babar which is providing cover to the merchant vessel is a battle ship and could not get close to the vessel,” Burney said.
The shipping company owning the vessel has been contacted to arrange the fuel, he further said. Pakistan Navy has also been requested to take steps for safe return of the MV Suez crew, he added.
The ship has 22 members crew on board, including four Pakistanis, six Indians, 11 Egyptians and one Sri Lankan, which were freed after 10 months in captivity of Somali pirates.
