SSUET students bag 2nd, 3rd prizes at engineering expo

Students from the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) won the second and the third prize for presenting innovative projects at the three-day ‘Reengineering Pakistan’ exhibition held at the Expo Centre.
In a statement issued by the SSUET on Thursday it was stated that Arsalan Zafar, Khusro Bakht, Tehseen Illahi, Murtaza Mohiuddin, Asif Noor Muhammad and Shoaib Altaf bagged the second prize of Rs 50,000 for designing the project ‘Pak Energy Ramp’, while Junaid, Shariq, Umair, Zubair and Waqas secured the third prize of Rs 25,000 for a project on ‘Solar Power Generating System.’
The SSUET students had displayed around 40 projects at the exhibition, whereas, around 400 projects were exhibited in total at the Expo Centre exhibition, organised by the Academic and Social Circle.
