Pakistan Medical & Dental Council has recommended Azra Naheed Medical College for approval, said a statement issued here on Thursday. It said Azra Naheed Medical College will be a ‘distinctive’ project of Superior Group of Colleges in the field of medical and health sector.
Pakistan Medical & Dental Council recommended Azra Naheed Medical College, with a capacity of 100 seats, for approval. In this regard a ceremony was held at university campus Raiwind Road. Superior Group of Colleges Chairman Prof Dr Ch Abdul Rehman, Principal Azra Naheed Medical College Dr Akbar Chaudhary, faculty members and others participated in the seminar.
Rehman said that Azra Naheed Medical College would be a great addition in top quality medical colleges of Pakistan. He added that the Superior Group of Colleges in collaboration with the government would launch trust hospitals throughout Pakistan and he announced that capacity of Surayya Azeem Hospital would be raised from 300 beds to 500 beds.
