The Karachi University Business School (KUBS) has been adjudged the winner of ‘Innovation Leadership Award 2011’ for Asia’s best business schools in the 2nd CMO Asia Awards, stated KUBS Chairman Prof Dr Zakiur Rehman on Thursday.
“The honour has been conferred by the CMO Asia, an evaluation agency for academic excellence, while the award ceremony is scheduled to be held in Singapore on July 22.” Rehman – who will fly to Singapore to receive the award – described the occasion as a huge honour for the University of Karachi that has been achieved due to collective efforts of faculty dean, teachers, staff and students.
The award consists of a trophy and citation and is presented to individuals and institutions surpassing several levels of excellence and setting an example of being a role model and exemplary leadership.
