As many as three hundred TEVTA teachers have been trained as master trainers by foreign experts and resource persons of City & Guilds International UK, a press statement issued here on Thursday said.
It said TEVTA, in collaboration with City & Guilds International, has launched 13 trades/technologies at 24 selected TEVTA Institutes across the province of Punjab in the first phase. These courses include Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Aided Design & Drafting (Civil), Computer Aided Design & Drafting (Mechanical), Technician Award in Engineering, Metal Machining, Electrical Installation, Auto CAD, Construction Industry, Quantity Surveyor, Motor Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, Refrigeration & Air Conditioning and Motor Vehicle Engineering. In this connection, a certificate distribution ceremony was held here at Govt College of Technology Railway Road. TEVTA Chairman Saeed Ahmad Alvi, Chief Operating Officer Muhammad Abid Javaid, Member of TEVTA Board Asim Qadri, Operations City and Guilds Manager Asad Warriach, TEVTA officers and large number of teachers were also present on the occasion.
