Once again Shehbaz Sharif has announced the import of tax free cars for yellow cab scheme for the benefit of poor and unemployed people. Instead of bringing some new change in improving the conditions of poor, they start another failed scheme. Will the poor unemployed people be able to buy these cars to use them as cabs? These cars will be delivered to their party members as next election is in the offing. Since we in Pakistan are having lot of private taxi cars, we do not need any yellow cabs. We just need to improve commuter buses and wagons. It is better to import buses and wagons rather than taxi cars. If Mian Sahib is bent upon importing these cars, then he should show some national spirit and only import not more than 800 CC cars for this scheme, which should be strictly given only to the poor and unemployed.

  4. only unemployed gradutae under 35 ll be eligble to apply and after that through balloting fortunate one ll got a chance to drive laxurious yellowcab and by doing this pakistan ll become most cevilized country cause even cab drivers ll be graduate at lesat and parlementarians and ministers r free of any condition like graduation, moral in pakistan if u r a poor gradutae u can drive a taxi and if u r uneducated but rich u can drive pakistan.

    • 15 july is a date of launching yellow cab scheme and guys we all are mad i think no one can buy suzuki mehran for using taxi if any one will b apply then his only purpose is to buy a car direct from show room he will b change car colour and mehran will take its own condition many times people ask for what is the procedure and launching date so bro bro 15 july is launching date and procedure is to fill a fourm u can take a fourm from Bank of Punjab….but recently i called the head office of Bank of Punjab they told they dont have any kind of information yet so i dnt know is this scheme real or fake….

  39. If a graduate is over than 35 and he is unemployed why he can not apply for this scheme. Is he not a citizen of Punjab and Pakistan? Is he not a voter of Pakistan? Is he not under the ruler (Khadim-e-Aala) of Punjab Govt. If a graduate is unemployed due to the load shedding in factories and he is above 35 years and he has driving license, why he is not able to apply for this scheme. Please think about, because all unemployed are equal for Govt.

In above threads people who are writing against this scheme, they have corollas and Hondas in their car porch having digital stereo systems and extra facilities for a comfort drive, so they are looking it with bird eye only, they will always criticize it only, why they are giving the partnerships to poor in their elite businesses, why they all shifting their businesses to other countries, they never feel hesitate to acquire huge bank loans and they never ashamed to swap it without returning anything, they will only give you the words, because they don’t know the situation of common men.

  76. The scheme is obviously good, but its repercussion are not kept in view. The country is suffering from lot of crises, including energy, which is a major factor. It is not feasible how to combat this situation. We have seen CNG transport dilemma and cannot afford more.

  111. Procedure are much more lenthey no one give guarrantee for any one, a long time period specialy car scheme. I think there is no need of gurrantee if this scheme is for poor beacuse no one give gurrantee for poor.

    and as for as I think Government of Punjab is trying to keep it crystal clear.
    I am one of its winner.
    I was not expecting myself as winner when this scheme was launch I thought it will be political bases but I was wrong.
    Upper level Govt is doing well but lower level officer whether they are from bank of Punjab or District Management are creating hurdles.
    any how over all it is good and transparent scheme.
