Punjab Professors and Lecturers Association (PPLA) held a protest in front of the Punjab Assembly on Wednesday. The teachers kvetched that the Punjab government did not allocate sufficient budget to the education. They also demanded additional perks for the college teachers. Dozens of teachers, assembled in front of the Punjab Assembly, raised slogans against the Punjab government. PPLA leader, Rizwanul Haq, asked the authorities to announce posting orders for the teachers who became the victim of direct selection and promotion. He also said that the teachers would boycott paper marking if their demands were not met.
