Journalists protested outside the Parliament against the murder of Saleem Shahzad and threats being received by other journalists.
As per details, the journalists will continue their protest for 24 hours, and are now being supported by politicians and members of civil society. They are demanding that a judicial commission led by a sitting Supreme Court judge must be formed to probe Saleem Shahzad’s murder and security be provided to journalists.
They said if the government did not listen to their demands, they would announce stricter measures after 24 hours.
