The federal cabinet will meet today (Wednesday) to take up a six-point agenda with Delimitation of Constituencies (Amendment) Bill 2011 on the top, besides discussing political and security challenges facing the country. A source told Pakistan Today on Tuesday that the cabinet was also likely to approve the commercial import of arms of non-prohibited bore, adding that approval would also be given to negotiate to conclude avoidance of double taxation and prevention of fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income.
An approval would also be given to the draft bill for amendment in the motor vehicle ordinance 1965 for its application in the Islamabad Capital territory (ICT). The source said the cabinet would also be given a presentation on the consumer price index (CPI) per the prime minister’s decision of monitoring it.
