The Sports Board Punjab organised trials for under-14 table tennis players at Punjab College of Commerce and selected 12-member team for the camp training. Teams from Lahore, Bahawalpur, Faisalabad, Multan, Sahiwal, Gujranwala and DG Khan and other cities participated in the trials. The table tennis camp will start from June 15 at Punjab College of Commerce from 10 am to 12 pm daily in which Senior coach Saba Waris will impart training and coaching to the players. The Punjab team of five best players will be selected at the end of the camp training to participate in Inter Provincial Youth U-14 Boys Table Tennis Championship to be held in the last week of June.
The selected players: Abid Iqbal, Zahid Bashir from Bahawalpur, Arslan, Danial, Mohammed Asfar and Mohammed Aleen from Lahore, Haadi Tahir from Gujranwala, Faizan Zahur, Mirza Fawad, Afzaal Ahmed and Mohammed Sufian from Faisalabad.
