Police on Monday allegedly detained and tortured the photographer who had recorded his statement in Kharotabad incident.
According to reports, Photographer Jamal Tarakai was detained and also subjected to severe torture in Kharotabad police station for recording his statement against the police.
Talking to a private television channel, Tarakai said that the police officials intercepted him on a road, tortured him and took him to the police station.
It may be mentioned that an unarmed Russian family was brutally murdered by police in Kharotabad by declaring them as terrorists.
A judicial tribunal has been set up to investigate the incident. Earlier, the police have severely tortured a surgeon doctor for recording his statement against the police.
According to the latest reports, two officials of Kharotabad police station have been suspended for torturing the journalist.
