Police injures 8 young doctors, arrests 72

Eight young doctors were injured as a result of aerial firing and shelling by the police after a brawl between Police and Young Doctors in Quetta, while police has arrested 72 doctors as well here on Tuesday.
According to details, Young Doctor’s Strikes is going on in the government hospitals of Balochistan aimed at having a raise in their pays and allowances, YDA staged a rally in front of Chief Minister’s house on Tuesday.
Police stopped the participants of rally when the rally reached on Prince Road near officers club, brawl started between police and doctors.
Police started arial firing and shelling of tear gas for dispersing the angry rally members as a result of which eight doctors were injured. The injured were sent to the civil hospital for first aid treatment. Condition of one doctor is said to be serious.
SP city Abdullah Afridi told that 72 doctors were arrested on charge of destroying the decorum of law and order and a case has also been filed against these doctors.
