I would like to bring a case of public nuisance faced by the residents of five colonies starting from Baldia Colony to the Central Jail Road. The passers-by of these five colonies suffer due to the heavy load of traffic stranded for hours near a hotel on the previous National Highway.
The city and district government’s officials seem reluctant to take any concrete measures to regulate the traffic and illegal encroachment made by the pick-up and van stands. People have to suffer immensely while crossing the road and sometimes the road remains blocked due to these encroachments and traffic congestion. Heavy vehicles stop in the middle of the road. Every time the police custody van crosses the road to central jail, people have to face inconvenience.
The district and city administration are requested to issue stern orders to the DSP Traffic and to SHO Baldia to remove illegal encroachments and for not allowing public transport to stop for long which causes inconvenience. I hope that such urgent efforts will ensure smooth flow of traffic.
