‘ISI-terror nexus’ to be part of talks: Krishna

India will raise the issue of alleged nexus between the ISI and the perpetrators of 26/11 attacks during the forthcoming talks between the foreign secretaries of the two countries. Indian External Affairs Minister SM Krishna, however, ruled out India’s intervention in Pakistani-Canadian Tahawwur Rana’s case, saying, “We cannot interfere in the legal process of another country.” “As far as India is concerned, we have got very important evidence, assessments and statements on oath that makes a world of difference. Rana has gone and appeared in a court in Chicago on his own. He has mentioned about the nexus between Pakistan government’s ISI and the perpetrators of Mumbai attack,” PTI quoted Krishna as telling reporters in reply to a question. He said India would take up the matter with Pakistan as well as revelations that there were rogue LeT elements in Pakistani administration. He said all issues of bilateral nature would come under discussion in the upcoming talks, including Rana’s confessions.
