After approval of $28 million development assistance for Pakistan, the Danish International Development Agency, DANIDA will commence its operations for a two year program from June 23. A statement issued by the Danish embassy said that the fund program for Pakistan aims to contribute to the development and stability of the country as well as bolster peace building in the region. DANIDA works on supporting socio-democratic development worldwide. The inaugural ceremony will be hosted by the Danish Ambassador Uffe Wolffhechel and Joint Secretary Economic Affairs Division Mohammad Asif will be the chief guest.
