Recording videos of friends and posting it online has become something of a common sport. But now you can do it without them even knowing thanks to a pair of sunglasses with a built-in camera. The ZionEyez glasses allow you to record what is happening around you and, via a Bluetooth connection to your mobile phone, upload it to Facebook in real-time.
The camera on the frames is so small it is impossible to see making covert filming as easy as touching the ‘record’ button. And given that the battery lasts for three hours you will be able to spend half your day recording others before you have to stop and recharge.
The £92 glasses have 100 per cent UVA/UVB and tinted lenses and can be replaced with prescription lenses if desired. The tiny camera is located where the right arm joins the main frame, a lithium battery is in the left arm where there is also an 8GB memory card and a USB port for charging and downloading images onto your computer. ZionEyez claims that its product is a major advancement because ‘many recorded video streams are short, largely because it is uncomfortable for users to continuously hold their cameras up for longer than a few minutes’.
‘Imagine yourself recording exactly what your eyes see, whether it be worldly travels or a college lecture, no memorable event will be lost,’ the U.S. firm boasts.
