The Islamabad Police on Friday arrested a US national from Sector E-11, for illegally living in the area for the last one week. The area falls within the jurisdiction of Golra police station, who identified him as Mathew Craige.
A source in Golra police station said they came to know that Mathew married a Pakistani women and had been living in Pakistan for the last two years.
The source said that Mathew had also lived in Abbottabad. “Mathew’s visa had expired about two months ago. Subsequently, he was given a warning by Interior Ministry to leave Pakistan. Despite the warning, he did not leave Pakistan and kept changing his residence. Finally, the police arrested him from Sector E-11 on Friday,” the sources said.
