Two cattle traders killed in road accident

Two cattle traders were killed and six others injured in a road accident near Khairpur on early Wednesday morning. According to details, a truck loaded with cattle was travelling towards Karachi from Shikarpur when the vehicle’s tie rod broke near Therhi and it crashed on the roadside. Two cattle traders identified as Abdul Rashid and Himat Ali Shah were killed on the spot while other workers Muhammad Ali, Ghulam Shabbir, Muhib Ali, Owais, Bilawal and Ashiq Ali were injured. They were taken to the civil hospital, from where they were shifted to their native town. The bodies of the deceased were handed over to their relatives after legal formalities by the Khairpur police.
Two cattle were also killed in the accident. Five injured: Five people were injured in a road accident near Kot Diji on Thursday. According to details, a car was travelling towards Khairpur from Kumb when it collided with a wagon coming from the opposite side near Arib Solangi village within the Kot Diji police jurisdiction on the old National Highway.Five people including Riaz Shambani, Murad Shambani and Faiz Khan Bugti were injured. They were shifted to the Kot Diji taluka hospital. Kot Diji police reached the spot and took the car and the wagon into custody and lodged the case of the incident. The wagon driver, however, fled from the scene.
