The Pakistan Cricket Board has issued a warning letter to national women’s team captain Sana Mir for violation of her central contract as she gave a statement in the media.
She has been accused of giving an unauthorized interview, a few days ago, in which she had demanded appointment of women coaches for women’s cricket team.
Sana, who was the Player of the Tournament at the 2008 Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier, currently ranks 16th in the ICC Women’s ODI bowlers rankings.
The last month’s central contract to the women cricketers bound the cricketers over discipline and media statements. The spokesman of PCB has informed that she had given an interview to media without prior permission of administration, over which a warning had been issued to her and she has been cautioned to be careful in future.
