Ukrainian ambassador to Pakistan passes away

Ukrainian Ambassador to Pakistan, Ihor Pasko has died in a military hospital in Islamabad, the Dzerkalo Tyzhnia newspaper reported.

According to the newspaper, the ambassador died of a kidney infection. “Pasko died at the age of 54 in a military hospital in Islamabad Tuesday morning,” the newspaper reported.

Pasko was appointed Ambassador of Ukraine to Pakistan by President Viktor Yuschenko on February 7, 2007.

  1. He is a big loss to me, Embassy of Ukraine and its relations with Pakistan ,, and to all he was known. A great person and fatherly figure. May Allah rest his soul in peace.

  2. The demise of His Excellenacy Ihor Pasco is a great loss for Ukrain and Pakistan. He was Guradian of Alumni's of Pakistan who studies in Former Soviet Union States and was a good friend of Pakistan.

  3. A great friend of Pakistan. Did a lot more to improve the relations between Pakistan and Ukraine. The sad demise of His Excellenacy Ihor Pasco is a great loss for both countries (Ukrain and Pakistan).
