All Pakistan Paper Merchants Association (APPMA) Chairman Chaudhry Pervaiz has termed the federal budget business-friendly Raza Ibrahim. His body is affiliated with the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI).
Commenting on the budget, Pervaiz said the budget was favorable for the business community and would boost business activity. He welcomed the withdrawal of duty on paper and decrease in sales tax. The APPMA president, however, urged the government to charge import duty on paper items not more than 5 per cent as was being done by all under-developed countries.
