List of 27 MPs having assets abroad presented in NA

A list of 27 parliamentarians including National Assembly Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza has been presented before the National Assembly for having assets abroad.

Federal Law Minister Maula Bakhsh Chandio has submitted the detailed list of parliamentarians in which it has been stated that up to now there are 17 National Assembly members and 10 members from Senate have assets abroad.

As per the list, Federal Minister for Communications Arbab Alamgir, Engineer Muhammad Tariq Khattak, Justice (R) Fakhar un Nisa Khokhar and Asma Arbab Alamgir have assets in United Arab Emirates (UAE).

Engineer Usman Khan Tarkai and Parliamentary leader of FATA, Munir Khan Orakzai have assets in Qatar while Muhammad Jamil Malik has in Holland, Chaudhary Zahid Iqbal and Ishrat Ashraf have assets in Britain, Farah Naz Asfahani, Dr Tallat Iqbal Mayser have assets in United States of America and Khawaja Suhail Mansoor has assets in Canada and UAE.

The report further highlighted that Speaker NA Fehmida Mirza also has property in foreign country, however, it could not be identify the country.

Kishan Chand Parwani, Sallah ud Din and Malik Azmat also have overseas assets, however, in report their names have not been mentioned.

According to the list of Senate members, who have assets in UAE are Finance Minister Hafiz Sheikh, Port & Spinning Minister Babar Khan Ghouri, Senator Ishaq Daar, Gull Muhammad Lott, Senator Muhammad Ghafran and Abdul Ghani Bakhsh.

Interior Minister Rehman Malik in Britain and Muhmmad Azam Khan Swati has in USA and UAE while Senator Tariq Azeem and Adnan Khan also have assets abroad, however, the names of their countries have not been mentioned.
