The second phase of the national training camp concluded here at the Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Complex on Saturday in which 15 players from different cities received specialised training under the command of international coach from India Birbal Wadhera.
Upcoming and talented teenagers from Peshawar, Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad participated in the camp. Birbal displayed high quality of coaching skills during the camp and maintained high discipline and concentrated on the physical fitness of the boys.
Birbal believed that the players should continue their practice to improve the performance in the national as well as international tournaments. He also stressed that the federation should engage national coach to continue this coaching programme to achieve the results. He also thanked the PTF for excellent hospitality and said that the camp would help bring international tennis back in Pakistan.
He also assures that he would provide his services whenever required by Pakistan for grooming the talent. He also appreciated Asim Shafiq, Inamul Huq and Jehhanzeb Khan for their assistance during the camp and camp in charge Arif Qureshi for providing good facilities during the camp.
In the end, Uzbekistan ambassador graced the occasion as chief guest and distributed the prizes among the participants and a memento to Birbal Wadhera.
