The three day Senior Inter District Cricket Tournament started at different venues of the city on Friday. At LCCA ground, North Zone Blues were bowled out on 177 in their first innings against East Zone Whites. Irfan Haider remained highest scorer with 62 runs, while Wasim Ashraf and M Asif took three wickets each for East Zone Whites.In reply, East Zone Whites scored 63-1 and at the end of day one Fahad ul Haq was playing on 43 runs. At Model Town Greens ground, East Zone Blues were bowled out on 186 in their first innings against West Zone Blues. Rizwan Ahmed scored 35 and Abid Ali played a knock of 34 runs, while M Irfan took six and Saad Naseem took three wickets for West Zone Blues. In reply, West Zone Blues scored 131-6 at the stump of first day. Tanzeel Altaf took four wickets for East Zone Blues. At Aligarh ground, West Zone Whites scored 237-7 in their limited overs. Saad Ullah Ghori scored unbeaten 52 runs, while Inaam Javed took four wickets for North Zone Whites. In reply, North Zone Whites scored 63-3 at the end of day one.
